Tobacco Cessation

Tobacco use is the single largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the US. Each year, 443,000 deaths are associated to tobacco use and 49,400 non-smokers die as a result of exposure to second hand smoke. In Florida alone, approximately 88 people die each day from tobacco related illness.

Thinking about Quitting Tobacco but you're not sure how? Hendry Regional Medical Center and Everglades Area Health Education Center (EAHEC) offer a Free program to help you.
