Dr. Forbes Honored by Florida Hospital Association
The Florida Hospital Association held its annual recognition dinner on Wednesday, October 17th, honoring Dr. James Forbes, who won the prestigious 2007 Lifetime Heroic Achievement Award. (Also honored were the winning nominees of the Hospital Heroes Award.) Each year, the Florida Hospital Association honors one person who has given at least 30 years of service to a hospital and made a significant impact in enhancing the operations and patient care of that particular facility. Dr. Forbes displayed all the required qualities, exemplifying heroic service, compassion, honor, and integrity during the 40-plus years of his healthcare profession.
The employees of Hendry Regional Medical Center are very proud of Dr. Forbes. The Forbes family and Craig Cudworth (CEO of Hendry Regional Medical Center), along with several members of the Hospital Board of Authority, the hospital medical staff and HRMC employees attended the recognition ceremony, held at Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Dr. Forbes has an active practice at the Hendry Family Care Center of Hendry Regional Medical Center, where he also serves as Medical Director.
