New Chief Nursing Officer at HRMC
Pamela Redondo has joined the administrative staff of Hendry Regional Medical Center as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). She came to Clewiston, Florida in May of this year, with over 14 years of nursing experience.
Pamela received her nursing diploma from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Miami, Florida. She continued her education to receive a Bachelors Degree in nursing and a dual Masters in nursing and business administration, with a specialty focus in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix in Plantation, Florida.
Today’s chief nursing officers are responsible for a vast array of tasks – everything from operations, evaluations and strategy to the delivery of care, mentoring, benchmarking, and management. Pamela has been successful in implementing action plans to reduce costs, while maintaining the highest quality of patient care. Her clinical experience has been in multiple disciplines such as compliance, case-management, operations, quality, and clinical nursing. Her expertise as a nursing consultant has helped hospitals and physician practices identify adherences and deviations of healthcare standards.
While focusing on her key responsibility of ‘enhancing the quality of patient care,’ Pamela will also work towards:
Recruiting and retaining nurses
Collaborating with nurse managers
Developing physician leadership
Increasing patient satisfaction
Continuing standards for nursing practice
Building relationships with the medical staff
Aligning nursing goals with strategic plans.
The staff of Hendry Regional Medical Center welcomes Pamela Redondo and her family to the community.
