Hendry Regional Offering Seasonal Flu Shots
This year, one out of five people will get the flu. Approximately 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu complications each year. Even more startling is the fact that around 36,000 men, women and children die annually as a result of the flu.
October is the beginning of the flu season, and Hendry Regional Medical Center is offering flu shots to the public for only $15.00. You may obtain your flu vaccination from Hendry Family Care Center (adjacent to the hospital) during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or through the Outpatient Registration Department of Hendry Regional from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Protect yourself – get your flu shot today.
