Pharmacy Department
The Pharmacy Department of Hendry Regional Medical Center offers 24-hour Pharmacy services, using both on-site staff and telepharmacy services. Our services include:
Reviewing medication orders and profiles (by 24-hour pharmacists) to help assure safety and effectiveness
Distributing Drugs
Preparing IV admixtures
Providing drug information and consultation to staff, physicians, and patients.
In an effort to continue to make the medication administration process as safe as possible, we participate in a nationwide program, which focuses on improving the safety of each aspect of ordering and administering medications to patients.
