Respiratory Therapy/Testing


Cardiopulmonary (also known as Respiratory Therapy) services are involved in the treatment, management, control and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiac and respiratory systems. This service is continuous for both inpatients and outpatients to include neonate/infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The respiratory therapy team at HRMC has many years experience in diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disease. Some of the cardiac, pulmonary and other services provided include:

Cardiac Services
  • Electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • Stress Tests (Exercise and non-exercise cardiac testing)
  • Cardiac Holter Monitoring (24 hour)
  • Cardiac Event Monitoring
  • Exercise Echocardiograms
  • Adult Cardiology Clinic
Pulmonary Services
  • Baseline Lung Function Testing
  • Bronchospasm Evaluation
  • Lung Diffusion Testing
  • Industrial Worker Screening
