Did you know that Ambulatory or ‘outpatient surgery’ has increased in popularity since its general introduction in the 1970's?
Today over 65% of all surgical procedures performed in the United States, including those at Hendry Regional Medical Center, are performed on an outpatient basis. No overnight hospital stay is required, so you, as the patient, could return home the same day, quickly and safely, minimizing family and work disruption.
If your surgery should require a little extra recovery time before going home, Hendry Regional Medical Center offers comfortable and convenient 24-hour care as an inpatient, with private rooms to accommodate your stay.
